Eagle Point Park is home to 164 acres of beautiful wooded land and panoramic views of the Mississippi River overlooking Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is known for its Prairie style architecture using natural materials to make structures blend with their surroundings designed by Alfred Caldwell in the 1930’s.
In order to steward this regional treasure, Gronen led the rehabilitation of the beloved Bridge Complex shelter and Indian Room including installation of a new cedar shake roof, cleaning and repair of limestone chimney and facade, and replication of original doors and windows.
